House Rules

1. Avondale is a non smoking establishment. If you wish to smoke, we have a seating area at the front of the House.

2. Breakfast is served between 8 am – 9 am. We are happy to cater for any dietary requirements as long as we our made aware of them in advance.

3. Arrivals are normally accepted between 3 pm and 6 pm although arrangements can be made outside these hours. It would be appreciated if you would kindly telephone us near the date of your stay to give an indication of your estimated time of arrival.

4. Vacating rooms – We would like guests to vacate rooms by 10.30 am.

5. Bookings - When booking we require a deposit and a confirmation letter. Cheques should be made payable to Avondale Guest House.

6. We accept cash, cheques and most major credit cards.

7. Cancellations – We would appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible if you have to cancel your booking. Deposits will only be refunded if we are successful in reletting the room/rooms, less 15% service charge.

8. Children – We have no facilities for babies or small children but we will do our best to accommodate older children.

9. Dogs – Unfortunately we are unable to take dogs, much as we love them, as we must consider future guests.
